Water Always Wins

January 19, 2024

You may have heard the saying “Water Always Wins”. And the statement is true; water does always win. There is nothing that can endure the strength of water. Water is so powerful that it can dissolve, destroy, or alter all matter.

The Grand Canyon was created with water, and that should idealize how powerful water really is. If water can create a canyon from rock, imagine what it can do to your home.

Sure, there is evidence of damage to homes during floods, hurricanes, and storms – but water does not need to come in a powerful rage to wreak havoc on your home.

Even the smallest leak, over time, can cause thousands of dollars in damage. Roofing may seem simple, but to combat something as powerful as water, simple does not cut it. A proper roof is actually a complex system of layers that if installed incorrectly can not only fail but can cause serious issues. And when your roof has issues, it is almost never JUST the roof that needs to be repaired. Longstanding water damage causes wood to rot, can cause mold in the attic, and drywall damage, as well as foundation issues, siding issues, and a plethora of other problems. Roofing may seem like a great DYI project, but without proper knowledge, not hiring a professional can cost you much more in the long run.

Roofers know, where there is water, there is trouble, that is why it is so important to hire a knowledgeable roofing expert when dealing with your roof.
